Welcome to First Church!

Our calling and legacy is to welcome all God’s children and transform lives

For more than 350 years, we have been serving at the heart of Jamaica, Queens, growing into a vibrant, multicultural congregation with members representing over 35 nations. Our mission is to offer a place of safety and support for the community, foster meaningful relationships, nurture character development within our church family, and center our worship on the transformative power of Jesus.

Founded in 1662, we are proud to be one of the oldest continuously serving Presbyterian churches in the United States.
